House Committee Minutes: August 1898 – January 1902 NHNN/A/12
The Secretary Director reported also that Mr Davis, a patient who had been under the care of Dr Ormerod in the Princess Christian Ward had complained that he had not received treatment, such as he though his case demanded. The Secretary Director has ascertained that the prescriptions of the Physicians had been duly carried out, and had explained to the patient that the Sisters and Nurses could not do more than carry out orders. The patient made no complaint of the Sisters and Nurses who had treated him with every kindness. He was also satisfied with the diets and hospital arrangements generally.
