Medical Committee Minutes March 1878 - Dec 1899 NHNN/A/9/1

It was proposed by Dr Bastian and seconded by Dr Ferrier that to the rules of the office of Registrar and Pathologist, the following be added:

“He shall keep a register to be known as the ‘Pathologist Register’ which should be laid before the Medical Committee at each meeting, revised up to date. This register shall contain, in tabular form, particulars concerning all autopsies during the last 6 months, and others whose records may not have been up to that time entered in the case books. The register should contain the name of the patient, that of the disease, of the physician, of the date of the autopsy, and the date of the completion of the records in the case books.”
