Description: Fund-raising circular appeal letters from Edward Chandler and Johanna Chandler describing their plans to establish a charity for the relief of the paralysed poor. The letter from Johanna Chandler announces a proposal by the Lord Mayor [David Wire] to call a public meeting at the Egyptian Hall in the course of October. (The letters were originally mounted in a scrapbook).
